Volleyball Recap: Groveport-Madison Comes Up Short

Groveport-Madison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Central Crossing Comets. If the Cruisers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Comets when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Groveport-Madison's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Crossing, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Groveport-Madison will head out on the road to challenge Westerville South at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Central Crossing, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Reynoldsburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
