Waterloo had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hornell Red Raiders, sneaking past 43-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since January 15, 2025.

Waterloo's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Hornell, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.

Looking ahead, Waterloo is taking a road trip to challenge Dansville at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hornell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
