Volleyball Recap: Centaurus Comes Up Short

Centaurus lost against Arvada West back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors came up short against the Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-16, 25-16.

Centaurus' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Arvada West, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Centaurus will take on Riverdale Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Ravens will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. As for Arvada West, they will venture away from home to square off against Pomona at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
