Volleyball Recap: Logan/Palco Takes a Loss

Logan/Palco saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Trego Golden Eagles by a score of 2-1. While Logan/Palco didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Trego 25-19 in the first set.

Logan/Palco started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-20, 25-11.

Their offense was headlined by Hope Couse and Breyer Delimont, who picked up four kills apiece. Delimont really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with nine. Jayla Traxler controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Logan/Palco has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Trego, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Logan/Palco is taking a road trip to face off against Cheylin at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trego has already played their next game (against Norton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
