Lansdale Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They came up short against the Neumann-Goretti Saints, falling 101-75. One positive for the Crusaders, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neumann-Goretti to victory, but perhaps none more so than DeShawn Yates, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 assists. Yates has become a key player for Neumann-Goretti: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least ten assists, but 7-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Alassan N'Diaye, who went 10 for 13 on his way to 24 points and three steals.

Lansdale Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Neumann-Goretti, they pushed their record up to 10-9 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Lansdale Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 71-35 loss against Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic on the 2nd. As for Neumann-Goretti, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 80-70 defeat against St. Joseph's Prep on the 3rd.
