Volleyball Recap: Upperman Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Upperman and Dyer County squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Upperman had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Choctaws. Considering the last time the Bees couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

Presley Hickman paced Upperman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Hickman got some help from Emery Huddleston and her 25 assists. Hickman was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

With the defeat, Upperman broke their ten-match winning streak and moved their record to 29-9. As for Dyer County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-8-1 record this season.

Upperman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Chuckey-Doak on the 22nd. As for Dyer County, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Creek Wood on the 22nd.
