Softball Recap: Lima Christian Takes a Loss

Lima Christian lost against York last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Saints lost 13-6 to the Golden Knights. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Marsh made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last ten times she's played. Another player making a difference was Danielle Delibert, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Lima Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for York, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

Lima Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 22-2 defeat against Holley on the 8th. As for York, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-0 win against Perry on the 9th.
