Clovis won the last time they faced Salinas and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars breezed past the Cowboys to the tune of 49-14. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-7.
Clovis was led to victory by Deagan Rose and James Curoso. Rose threw for 217 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, while Curoso gained 129 total yards and two touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Curoso a new career-high in rushing yards (100).
