Baseball Recap: Boulder Comes Up Short

Boulder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-3 to the ThunderRidge Grizzlies.

Finn Torvik was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Boulder's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for ThunderRidge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boulder will head out to take on Highlands Ranch at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for ThunderRidge, they will head out on the road to challenge Rocky Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lobos will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Grizzlies surely won't give up without a fight.
