Softball Recap: South Lamar Comes Up Short

South Lamar and Lynn squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but South Lamar had to settle for second. They came up short against the Bears, falling 15-4. The Stallions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

South Lamar's loss dropped their record down to 18-17. As for Lynn, their win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-14-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bears beat South Lamar by a score of 16-4 later that day.
