Football Recap: Stephenson Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stephenson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lake Linden-Hubbell Lakes, falling 52-20. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 54-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Stephenson's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stephenson will take on Carney-Nadeau at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Linden-Hubbell, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Forest Park at 12:30 p.m. The Lakes will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 40 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
