Basketball Recap: Dalton Victorious

Dalton hadn't done well against Waynedale recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Dalton Bulldogs came out on top against the Waynedale Golden Bears by a score of 29-19. The 29-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dalton's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Waynedale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dalton will square off against Louisville at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Waynedale has already played their next contest (against Rittman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
