Basketball Recap: Revere Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Addi Kapp and Chloe Rorabaugh

Revere scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Aurora Greenmen, falling 72-51. While losing is never fun, the Minutemen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Greenmen are ranked 129th).

Chloe Rorabaugh and Addi Kapp certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Rorabaugh dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards, while Kapp went 5-for-11 to rack up 13 points and five rebounds. Kapp is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Julianna Stilley, who posted eight points.

Revere is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Aurora, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Revere didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-27 win against Cuyahoga Falls on the 10th. As for Aurora, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 40-34 loss against Copley on the 10th.
