Recap: Eastlake Wolves vs. Lynnwood Royals
The Eastlake Wolves's five-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 victory over Lynnwood. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Eastlake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kaleb Dehaan out in front who scored 19 points along with two steals. Gabriel Prock was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with four steals.
Eastlake's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-11. As for Lynnwood, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastlake will play host again and welcome North Creek, where tip off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Friday. North Creek has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests. Lynnwood won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Archbishop Murphy at 7:15 p.m. on January 16th. Archbishop Murphy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
