Penfield has gone 7-1 against Hilton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Patriots will challenge the Cadets at 5:15 p.m. Penfield is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Webster Schroeder hit Penfield with a five-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Patriots lost 9-1 to the Warriors. The Patriots' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Penfield saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stephanie Coughlin, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Hilton's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against Webster Thomas, falling 16-4.

Hilton's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Penfield, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-5.

Penfield couldn't quite get it done against Hilton in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 as they fell 6-3. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
