After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lincoln, Rickards was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 two weeks ago.

One reason for the win was Rickards' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-15, 25-10.

Tanvee Doddi paced Rickards' offense, picking up 14 kills. Doddi got some help from Brea Brooks and her 14 assists. Brooks was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

The victory got Rickards back to even at 10-10. As for FAMU DRS, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13.

Rickards wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Florida Christian on the 9th. As for FAMU DRS, they will face off against L.E.A.D. Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
