After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rockwall-Heath, Longview was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Royse City Bulldogs a 3-0 shutout. Considering the Lobos have won three contests by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Longview's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2-1 and their overall record up to 3-4-3. As for Royse City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
