Softball Recap: Luther Comes Up Short

After flying high against Black River Falls on Thursday, Luther came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the La Crosse Logan Rangers on Friday, falling 13-3. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 12-1 to the Rangers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for La Crosse Logan, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Luther will venture away from home to take on Westby at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights are facing the Norsemen at the right time seeing as the Norsemen are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for La Crosse Logan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Black River Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
