Volleyball Recap: West Scranton Comes Up Short

West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Dunmore Bucks. If the Invaders were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Bucks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Dunmore scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-18.

West Scranton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Dunmore, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Scranton is set to take on their familiar foe Valley View at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dunmore will square off against rival Lackawanna Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
