Softball Game Preview: Richmond-Burton Rockets vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

The Richmond-Burton Rockets will challenge the Kenosha Bradford Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Richmond-Burton 2.9, Kenosha Bradford 1.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Richmond-Burton is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Woodstock North just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Thunder by a score of 3-1.

Richmond-Burton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rebecca Lanz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kenosha Bradford). Everything went their way against Racine Horlick on Thursday as they made off with a 19-6 victory. The win was nothing new for the Red Devils as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Richmond-Burton's loss dropped their record down to 19-7-1. As for Kenosha Bradford, their victory bumped their record up to 17-1.
