Richardson scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 57-45 to the Heritage Coyotes. The loss leaves the Eagles still looking for their first win of the season.

Heritage was led to victory by Daniya Souter and Cami Batac. Souter went 7-for-14 on her way to 19 points and three steals, while Batac shot 45% from the field en route to 13 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Batac has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Danielle Henry was another key player, putting up four points and nine boards.

Richardson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Heritage, their record is now 2-3.

Richardson has already played their next matchup, a 60-42 loss against Anna on the 15th. As for Heritage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-56 win against Franklin on the 15th.
