 Noblesville won the last time they faced Carmel, and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Noblesville Millers had just enough and edged the Carmel Greyhounds out  4-3. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Noblesville.
  Lulu Van Beek tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out six over 6.2 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 12 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate, Noblesville saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Delaney Rundle, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 On Carmel's side,  Jayden Kleiner made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Noblesville's victory was  their seventh straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 13-9. As for Carmel, their loss dropped their record down to 8-15.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Noblesville will  square off against McCutcheon at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Carmel, they are on the road again  on Friday to play Terre Haute North Vigo at 6:00  p.m. The last three games Carmel has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
