Volleyball Recap: Harbor Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Harbor was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Aptos on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates fell 3-1 to the Scotts Valley Falcons on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Harbor started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-18.

Harbor has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season. As for Scotts Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Harbor will face off against rival Mt. Madonna at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Scotts Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Aptos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
