Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Cameron Dragons

Notre Dame lost against Cameron last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 3-2. The Fighting Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Piper Fryer and Sophie Gum certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Fryer had 33 digs and three aces, while Gum had 27 digs, six kills, five aces, and three blocks. Gum is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelina Policano, who had 18 digs, five kills, and three aces.

Notre Dame's defeat dropped their record down to 9-21. As for Cameron, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.
