Football Recap: Coconut Creek Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

The Coconut Creek Cougars beat the South Broward Bulldogs 20-13 on Friday.

Coconut Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.6 points on average over those games. As for South Broward, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coconut Creek will square off against Monarch at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Knights' defense has only allowed 10.5 points per game this season, so the Cougars' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for South Broward, they will challenge Pembroke Pines Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Bulldogs 8.5, the Jaguars 6.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
