Baseball Recap: Colton Comes Up Short

Colton fell victim to Jurupa Hills and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Spartans, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-1 back in April.

Colton has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for Jurupa Hills, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5.

While Colton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
