Baseball Recap: Abbeville Christian Academy Has No Trouble Against Crenshaw Christian Academy

Abbeville Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Crenshaw Christian Academy on Monday, but Crenshaw Christian Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars. The Generals have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Hunter Reynolds and Riddge Crawford did most of the damage at the plate: Reynolds scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Crawford scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Reynolds a new career-high in RBI (two). Morgan Sanders was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Abbeville Christian Academy now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Crenshaw Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Abbeville Christian Academy beat Crenshaw Christian Academy by a score of 14-1 on Tuesday.
