After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nazareth, Muleshoe was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Morton Indians 62-35. The victory was some much needed relief for the Mules as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Muleshoe's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Morton, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Muleshoe didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 73-35 defeat against Texline on the 5th. As for Morton, they will take on Abernathy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
