Volleyball Game Preview: Independence Patriots vs. Washington Rams

The Independence Patriots will head out to face off against the Washington Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Independence is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, Independence earned a 3-1 victory over Agua Fria.

Independence was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-10, 27-25.

Roman Corral and Jesus Neblina were among the main playmakers for Independence as the former had ten digs and the latter had 15 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Neblina has posted over his last six contests.

Meanwhile, Washington lost 3-0 to Buckeye on Tuesday.

Washington has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Independence, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-13.

Independence took their victory against Washington in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
