After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central Valley, Beaver was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the McGuffey Highlanders 42-6. With that victory, the Bobcats brought their scoring average up to 26.7 points per game.

Beaver got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jonah Justice out in front who rushed for 95 yards and one TD on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Scales, who rushed for 42 yards and three touchdowns.

Beaver pushed their record up to 3-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.2 points over those games. As for McGuffey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Beaver will be playing at home against Deer Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will be up against the Lancers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McGuffey, they will venture away from home to face off against Hopewell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Highlanders' defense better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 39 points per game this season.
