Basketball Recap: Upper Darby Comes Up Short

Upper Darby lost against Conestoga back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Upper Darby Royals took a hard 58-40 fall against the Conestoga Pioneers. The Royals' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Upper Darby's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Conestoga, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Upper Darby will venture away from home to square off against Ridley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Darby is facing Ridley at the right time seeing as Ridley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Conestoga and Garnet Valley will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Conestoga knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Garnet Valley likes a good challenge.
