Basketball Recap: Dalton Rice-Thompson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Cedar Bluff

Ashville won the last time they faced Cedar Bluff and things went their way on Thursday too. The Ashville Bulldogs blew past the Cedar Bluff Tigers 64-43. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Tigers are ranked 364th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ashville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Rice-Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten steals. The dominant performance gave Rice-Thompson a new career-high in steals. JB Potter was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Ashville smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.
