Volleyball Recap: Shorecrest Takes a Loss

Shorecrest lost against Bishop Blanchet back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scots lost 3-0 to the Bears.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-11, 25-11.

Leading Bishop Blanchet to victory were Abby Malley and Audrey Schneider. Malley had 19 assists and two aces, while Schneider had eight digs and two aces. Schneider is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Shorecrest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bishop Blanchet, their victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Shorecrest will venture away from home to square off against Edmonds-Woodway at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Blanchet, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Roosevelt on the 17th.
