Volleyball Recap: South El Monte Eagles vs. Alhambra Moors
South El Monte took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Alhambra, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The South El Monte Eagles had just enough and edged out the Alhambra Moors 3-2 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won three games in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead South El Monte to victory, but perhaps none more so than Johnson Phan, who had 21 digs and two aces.
