Soccer Recap: Half Moon Bay Triumphs

Half Moon Bay kept a clean sheet against Oceana on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Sharks. Half Moon Bay wouldn't have won without Luis Partida, who scored the game-winner.

Half Moon Bay's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Oceana, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Half Moon Bay will venture away from home to challenge Soledad at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Oceana, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mills at 4:30 p.m. on January 12, 2026.
