Baseball Game Preview: O'Dea Fighting Irish vs. Bishop Blanchet Bears

The O'Dea Fighting Irish will face off against the Bishop Blanchet Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times O'Dea and Seattle Prep have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-6. The Fighting Irish haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Bishop Blanchet didn't have quite enough to beat Lincoln on Tuesday and fell 2-1.

O'Dea's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Bishop Blanchet, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Everything went O'Dea's way against Bishop Blanchet in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as O'Dea made off with a 9-2 win. Will the Fighting Irish repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
