Recap: St. Pius X Panthers vs. Worthington Kilbourne Wolves
The St. Pius X Panthers pushed their score all the way to 55 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 64-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Worthington Kilbourne.
Te'mar Lewis was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds for Worthington Kilbourne. Another player making a difference was Evan Schutte, who scored six points.
St. Pius X now has a losing record at 11-12. As for Worthington Kilbourne, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
St. Pius X will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Antonian Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. As for Worthington Kilbourne, they will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin Heights is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
