Volleyball Recap: McDonogh Takes a Loss

McDonogh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Annapolis Area Christian. Surprisingly, this marked McDonogh's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

While McDonogh was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-5, 25-14.

McDonogh's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Annapolis Area Christian, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. McDonogh will take on rival St. John's Catholic Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Annapolis Area Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Maryvale Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
