The Windham Eagles won the last time they faced the Westbrook Blue Blazes, and things went their way on Saturday too. Windham skirted past Westbrook 32-30. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Windham.

Several Blue Blazes players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lyla Dunphe , who scored seven points along with seven rebounds. Dunphe hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Kylie Young , who scored ten points along with six rebounds.

Windham's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Westbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Windham will finish 2023 at home by hosting Thornton Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Thornton Academy will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. Westbrook will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Brunswick at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brunswick is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
