Baseball Game Preview: Skyline Raiders vs. Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes

The Skyline Raiders will head out on the road to challenge the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Skyline might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-1 to Cedar Hill, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders have struggled against the Longhorns recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Skyline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Manuel Del Toro, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI. Diego Reyes also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Duncanville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Mansfield Timberview, falling 12-4.

Duncanville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Skyline, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
