Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Lititz Christian's Third in Last Four Outings

If Covenant Christian Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lititz Christian, they should've done a better job of containing Jack Kriebel. The Lititz Christian Eagles strolled past Covenant Christian Academy with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-49 thanks in part to Kriebel, who went 12 for 23 en route to 31 points in addition to eight steals and six boards. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Antes, who posted four points along with eight assists and five rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Lititz Christian is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Covenant Christian Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lititz Christian will challenge New Covenant Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. New Covenant Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season. Covenant Christian Academy has already played their next match (against Harrisburg Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
