Volleyball Recap: Fullerton's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Fullerton lost to Stuart back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Broncos. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since September 13th.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Fullerton who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Fullerton's win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12. As for Stuart, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Fullerton and Stuart will both be playing Chambers/Wheeler Central the next time they take the court. The Broncos will head out to face the Renegades at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
