LaGrange Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener back in November. They put the hurt on Lafayette Christian with a sharp 47-25 win.
Anna Beth Kinnersley had a dynamite game for LaGrange Academy, dropping a triple-double on 27 points, 18 rebounds, and 12 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Laura Knight, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.
LaGrange Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lafayette Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Everything went LaGrange Academy's way against Lafayette Christian in their previous matchup back in November as LaGrange Academy made off with a 47-25 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for LaGrange Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
