Baseball Recap: West Carter's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

West Carter came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 9-2 to the Mason County Royals. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Comets couldn't push the score so high this time.

West Carter's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-6. As for Mason County, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Carter will host Nicholas County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mason County, they will square off against Paintsville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
