Basketball Game Preview: Tarbut V' Torah Lions vs. Artesia Pioneers + How To Watch

Having just played yesterday, the Tarbut V' Torah Lions will get right back to it and host the Artesia Pioneers at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Tarbut V' Torah knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Artesia likes a good challenge.

Tarbut V' Torah was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Vista Meridian on Monday. The Lions blew past the Meridian Eagles 63-24. With the Lions ahead 31-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Artesia came up short against Mary Star of the Sea last Monday and fell 65-58.

Loss or not, Artesia got some senior leadership from Christian Stewart and Jordan Heredia. Stewart dropped a double-double with 16 points and 12 boards, while Heredia posted 17 points and five rebounds. Stewart continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Nathan McKee was another key player, putting up five points.

Artesia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Tarbut V' Torah, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.
