Basketball Game Preview: Peoria Lions vs. Decatur Eisenhower Panthers

The Peoria Lions just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Friday, Peoria was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to Bolingbrook. The loss put an end to the Lions' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Decatur Eisenhower was beaten by Sacred Heart-Griffin 60-27 on Friday. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Cyclones recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Decatur Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Peoria, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
