Princeton has won three straight games at home, while Ayden - Grifton has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Bulldogs will welcome the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Princeton 3, Ayden - Grifton 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Princeton's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Spring Creek with a sharp 12-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Riley Misenis looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Branson Flynn was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Aston Massey, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Princeton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Ayden - Grifton was able to grind out a solid victory over SouthWest Edgecombe on Thursday, taking the game 7-3.
The team relied heavily on Davis Brinson, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That run was his first of the season. Jack Ewell was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.
Princeton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Ayden - Grifton, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.
Princeton's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Bulldogs have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Ayden - Grifton, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Princeton continue to outrun the ball?
Princeton couldn't quite get it done against Ayden - Grifton in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 as they fell 7-3. Will the Bulldogs have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
