Basketball Recap: Hunt Victorious

Hunt won the last time they faced Beddingfield, and Aiyana Harrison did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hunt Warriors claimed a resounding 63-21 victory over the Beddingfield Bruins thanks in part to Harrison, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

Sa'Naiya Coppedge and Zye'Viauna Smith certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Coppedge posted ten points and six rebounds, while Smith had. That was a full 47.6% of Beddingfield's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

The win got Hunt back to even at 2-2. As for Beddingfield, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Hunt wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 77-35 loss against Rocky Mount on the 9th. As for Beddingfield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-39 defeat against Greene Central on the 10th.
