Basketball Recap: Taylor's Crossing Comes Up Short

If Taylor's Crossing was riding high fresh off their 58-28 takedown of Clark County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Taylor's Crossing Eagles took a blow against the Challis Vikings on Friday, falling 87-53. The Eagles have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Jacen Farr continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Challis, going 18 of 22 en route to 41 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Farr a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Ollar, who posted 17 points and eight steals.

Taylor's Crossing's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Challis, they moved to 2-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

After both having extra time off, Taylor's Crossing and American Heritage will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Taylor's Crossing is facing American Heritage at the right time seeing as American Heritage is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Challis, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sho-Ban at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
