Volleyball Recap: Smith-Cotton Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Smith-Cotton fell 3-1 to Waynesville. Smith-Cotton has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Alle Case paced Smith-Cotton's offense, picking up 13 kills. Case got some help from Taylor Pinkel and her 20 assists.

Smith-Cotton's defeat dropped their record down to 10-20-3. As for Waynesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Smith-Cotton nor Waynesville have any future games scheduled.
